Dr. Vinaya Rajan, DirectorVinaya Rajan received her Ph.D. in Developmental and Biological Psychology from Virginia Tech in 2012 and then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in cognitive science and education from the University of Delaware. She joined the faculty at the University of the Sciences in 2015 as an assistant professor of psychology. Her research interests are in the area of early childhood cognitive and brain development. Research in her lab focuses on the development of memory, self-regulation, and the factors that impact young children’s school readiness and achievement in the domain of mathematics. In her free time, Dr. Rajan enjoys spending time with her husband, Robby and her two children, Elisha (4) and Ethan (10mos).

Teresa is a third year Biochemistry major with a Mathematics minor at the University of the Sciences. She hopes to pursue a career in the medical field. She loves teaching and working with children in her community. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, drawing, dancing, and spending time with her friends and family!

Madeleine is a third year Neuroscience major and Psychology minor. She is involved in the Neuroscience Club, International Society, and is a sister of Alpha Sigma Tau sorority, where she serves as the Historian from 2019-2020. She plans on attending medical school after getting her B.S. in Neuroscience and become a surgeon.

Kunjal is a second year Biomedical Sciences student. She is involved in Pre-Med Society and many other organizations on campus. She loves spending time with children, volunteering at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House and CHOP in her free time. After graduation, she aspires to go to medical school and become a pediatrician. In her free time, she loves to go to the gym, play tennis, read books, try new food, and spend time with her family and friends! |

Raahi is a second year student at the University of the Sciences in a pre-med program majoring in biomedical sciences and minoring in psychology. He is also captain of the Bollywood Fusion dance team Dhadkan and a brother of Phi Sigma Pi. In his free time he likes to try new foods and explore the city. Angeli is a fourth year Biology student who is pursuing a career in the medical field. When she's not drowning in school work or research you can find her at the hottest foodie spots in Philly! |
